delivering at one of these to a customer, and it is easy to see why the TL sold so many more. Yes, it's quick, and comfortable. However, the TL is a better car for the average Acura buyer.

Why? I'm genuinely curious as I like those.

The RL is the japanese Phaeton. It's very expensive for what most people see it as, but is extremely luxurious and overengineered. Here's the interior.
Doesn't that look fantastic?

The RL is a great car. However for the 2005 model year it went from being a Honda version of the Buick Park Avenue to a sports sedan with 300 hp and all wheel drive.

This generation of Acura RL also had one of the most comfotable and beautiful interiors of all time.

I was in a black over tan one with a non-functional Navi. The seats were nice and firm but comfortable. Controls were wonderful and it just felt planted on the on-ramps. Very nice.

My father in law has a '14 RLX and I really like it. Very comfortable, the interior layout is nice and it's quick. He's had it all of 9 months, maybe less, and he's tired of it though. The reasoning for that, however, is a whole different story.

I guess that makes me Jagvar #2.

I definitely agree with that. The prior RL was more American than its previous iterations. It was a big, front-wheel drive sedan with a torquey V6 that ran out of breath at high RPMs. The 05+RL was a smaller, more expensive, AWD sport sedan.
